I am currently a MS/PhD candidate at Stanford University π² studying computer science π€ and biomedical informatics π§¬, where I am fortunate to be advised by the amazing Euan Ashley π§¬π«.
My primary research interests revolve around developing methods that utilize machine learning and artificial intelligence to accelerate protein engineering approaches such as directed evolution, and developing and exploring the capabilities of biology-focused foundation models.
I am very thankful to be supported by a T15 predoctoral training grant from the National Library of Medicine πΊπΈ, and by a MAC3 Data Science and Precision Medicine Fellowship.
Prior to moving to the Bay Area, I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison π¦‘, where I majored in Biomedical Engineering π¦Ύ and Computer Science π».
